An infinite, walkable 3D forest generated on the fly in the browser. Every seed grows a different forest — terrain, trees, water, and lighting all stream in as you explore, with no load screens and no repeats.
Built as a single self-contained HTML file using Three.js.
Just open procedural-forest.html in a browser. No build step, no install.
You can also serve it locally:
python3 -m http.server
then visit http://localhost:8000/procedural-forest.html.
mulberry32 PRNG plus 2D value noise with fractal Brownian motion (fbm) drives terrain height, tree placement, and biome variation, so the same seed always reproduces the same forest.140x140 unit chunks around the player, built and discarded as you move, giving the illusion of an endless forest.MIT — see LICENSE.
